Jaime Michele - Lead Vocals.
Hailing from the New York City area, Jaime grew up in a musical family, exposed to many genres of from Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald from her grandmother to Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and Motown from her parents. Jaime began piano lessons at age 9 and went on to study classical piano and music therapy at S.U.N.Y New Paltz. There she also learned the art of jazz, blues, folk and rock. Determined to pursue her musical career in the city where, “if you can make it there, you’ll make it anywhere,” she joined a NYC based band as a back-up singer, percussionist and keyboard player for original funk artist, Jason Yudoff & The New Hotness. She played every club from one end of Greenwich Village to the other, including places as legendary as The Bitter End, The Knitting Factory, The Central Park Bandshell, Arlene’s Grocery, Crash Mansion and The Cutting Room.
In 2006, Jaime relocated to the southeast for a change of scenery and to revitalize her passion for the music industry. She has been performing extensively as a solo artist, staking her place as a strong female artist in a heavily male dominated Wilmington music scene. (Check out her Facebook page & add her to find out where & when she is playing solo!) Her contralto voice ranges from vibrant and throaty to breathy and soulful. Her variability as a musician knows no limits as she strives to keep her crowd fully engaged and on their feet! Her energy is infectious and there’s no denying Jaime brings a commanding presence to center stage for BLP.
Mark Scott - Lead Guitar.

Early influences include: Eddie Van Halen, Ritchie Blackmore, Randy Rhoads, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Angus Young, David Gilmour and Joe Perry.
After moving to Denton, Texas in his mid 20s, he found a whole new trough of influences and became interested in many noted Texas guitarists' styles such as Anson Funderburgh, Freddie King, Albert King and Albert Collins and Eddy Shaver. He spent many years in the Dallas/Fort Worth music scene playing with some of the area’s best blues, rock and country bands. He played the first SRV run concert in Dallas and was the guitarist for the Dallas award-winning band The Silvertones for their first two “Best Blues band in Dallas” awards.
The fact that Mark has been known and respected as one of the most versatile players in the area has always kept him in high demand. He has attended the prestigious Berklee School of Music in Boston on a full Fender scholarship and officially graduated from The University of North Texas. Mark has shared the stage or played with Buddy Miles in Fort Worth (Miles said to Mark, "I like the way you play!") and what better endorsement to get than to hear positive comments from Jimi Hendrix, "Band of Gypsy" drummer, Bugs Henderson, and Texas Slim. Additionally, Mark won a touring slot over 40 other players with international blues act, Guitar Shorty.
